Clongowes Wood College SJ is a very special place. We are a leading boarding school community for boys located in Clane, Co. Kildare, Ireland. Our school is set in 550 acres of countryside with farmland and sports grounds that wrap around our beautiful school buildings.
We are a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, we strive to support students in their growth towards a greater understanding and awareness of their faith and the part that this plays in their lives.

Since its foundation in 1814, by Fr Peter Kenney SJ, Clongowes graduates have become leaders in the areas of business, sport, politics and the arts. Our warm and happy school puts the care and nurturing of each individual student at the heart of everything we do.
Clongowes provides an all-round, student centered education. Our students learn together in the classroom and their learning spills out into our wide range of co-curricular activities.
