Your donation & Tax-efficient giving

Since January 2013, Irish charities have been able to claim back significant tax relief on donations under the Revenue’s Charitable Donations Scheme. Tax on donations over €250 may be claimed back at a blended rate of 31% if the donor is PAYE or self-employed. By completing a CHY3 or CHY4 form your donation can provide additional revenue to the Foundation at no extra cost to you. See table below for a breakdown of the Tax benefits of your donation with circa 45% rebate from revenue each year.

Making a Pledge

You may wish to make a pledge/donation to the Foundation over a certain period. Donors can choose a figure and a time period that is right for them. Please choose from one of the below pledge forms depending on your residency.

Gifts from our donors in the U.S.A can be made through the Clongowes Foundation U.S Inc.

As a registered Foundation, donors can avail of tax planning and matching gifts by Corporates in the U.S

UK Donation Process

Donations to Clongowes Wood College from the UK can be made via The Ireland Funds Great Britain, please download this donation form Ireland Funds GB Donation & Gift Aid Form 2024 CWC and return it to The Ireland Funds.

You can maximise your donation by claiming Gift Aid, adding 25p to every £1 donated.
