About Ireland’s Leading Boys Boarding School

Founded in 1814, we are home to 450 boys from Ireland, the UK and Internationally. Set in 550 acres of beautiful countryside, yet just 30 kilometres from Dublin, we offer a nurturing home-from-home for boys aged 12 – 18, where every student benefits from an all-round education, rooted in Jesuit values.

“When I visited Clongowes, I was blown away by the warm and homely atmosphere.” – Parent
