POETRY PARENT DAY
Poetry Parent Day will take place on Sunday 15th October 2017. The day will begin at 09.15 with refreshments in the concourse. Our speakers will be in room 3 at 09.50am; we will finish with Eucharist in the Sports Hall at 11.30, followed by an option to stay for lunch.
Our main speaker for Poetry Parent day will be Mrs Elma Walsh, Mother of the late Donal Walsh RIP. Donal is the Kerry teenager who touched so many lives, through his writings and anti-suicide message. When he was a guest on ‘The Saturday Night Show’ his message was to live life to the fullest.
Donal’s parents have established the Livelife Foundation to continue to promote Donal’s anti-suicide message and the theme of Mrs Walsh’s talk will be Livelife.
The Poetry Prefect will also give a brief update.
We hope that you can attend. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or at 045 838294 before this Friday 6th October and in your response please let us know if you will be staying for lunch so we can give accurate numbers to our catering staff.
