What to Expect at Our Open Events
If your thinking of of Clongowes for your son, joining one of our Open Events is a great way of getting an authentic sense of the school from staff and students and also to ask any questions that you might have.
Our Open Mornings are great fun! Boys get to spend time with our First Year (Elements) students taking part in a whole range of activities such as science, art, golf, swimming, lunch in the Ref and and a tour of the school. Visiting parents spend time with our boarding team and students on an immersive tour of the school with lots of opportunity to ask questions. The morning finishes with an informal lunch in the castle.
If you can’t make our Open Morning then tuning in to our Virtual Open Evening webinar is a convenient way to hear from our staff and students from your own home and ask any questions that you might have. Our virtual events take approximately an hour and cover lots of topics from academics, spiritual life, boarding life and most importantly, our students explain what day to day life is like.

Our Open Mornings are a great way to see the school in action on a typical day! You will have a tour of the school and meet key members of staff, as well as students. Our Open Mornings for the next school year are listed below. If you can’t make the Open Morning, you are most welcome to come for a visit on any school day. How to Arrange a Private Family Visit
Many families attend all of our events before or after a private family visit. Families are always most welcome to come to Clongowes for a visit. During your family visit, you will get a thorough tour of the school from a member of our boarding team or our Director of Admissions. You will have the opportunity to meet staff and students and ask any questions that you may have.

Virtual Open Evenings 2025-2026
Our Virtual Open Evenings are an excellent way to learn more about life at Clongowes. The events take place on Zoom and are suitable for boys and their parents.
