Clongowes Wood College has continually evolved since its foundation in 1814, adapting to a changing world while remaining rooted in its core mission.  The mission to help each student realise their full potential, guided by the Jesuit ethos and a desire to make a meaningful impact.

Since its creation in November 2004 the Clongowes Foundation has played a vital role in supporting this mission by securing philanthropic funding for the College’s development. Over the past two decades, this has enabled significant investment in campus infrastructure and the development of initiatives such as the Alberto Hurtado Bursary Programme (AHP) & Endowment Fund (AHEF), opening the doors of a Clongowes education to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
