The sun came out on Sunday 21st September for the inaugural Fr Percy Winder SJ Perpetual Challenge Cup which saw OCs and current students face each other on the newly refurbished tennis courts at Clongowes!
The competition was intense with both singles and doubles matches. With all play finished, the teams were level at 6-6. Both captains decided to go for sudden death which was won by Grammar student Tom Cotter!
The day also marked the official opening of our 8 new courts by Headmaster, Mr Lumb, and the blessing of the courts by Fr Rector Michael Sheil SJ.
