One of the most common questions we are asked by parents and boys before they join Clongowes is, “what is a typical day like?”.
One of the strengths of boarding life is that the day is structured for the most part. We find that boys get into good routines in terms of sleep, exercise, study and of course, quality time spent with friends. While no two days are the same at Clongowes, the days are underpinned by a reassuring rhythm which can help boys settle in, especially when they are new to the school.
Daily routines are carefully planned to balance class/study time, cocurricular activities, and personal time.
