In a wonderful initiative between three Jesuit schools, we are excited to be part of ‘The Full Story’ writing competition which takes place this month.
We are teaming up with Belevedere College SJ and Gonzaga College SJ to showcase the wealth of creativity and talent amongst the students in all three colleges.
Award-winning author, Dave Rudden has kindly agreed to act as independent adjudicator for this year’s competition and has also offered to run a writing masterclass with the winning and shortlisted students. Dave is a regular visitor to the James Joyce Library at Clongowes where so many of our students have enjoyed his Knights of the Borrowed Dark Trilogy,
The competition is organised into two categories: Junior (1st to 3rd Year) and Senior (4th to 6th Year). The winners of each category will take home €100 while the runner(s) up will receive €50 each. The winning entries will be published by each school in our respective college annuals.
Students need to get writing soon as the closing date for entries is May 15th. Entries should be emailed to Ms O’Loughlin.
More details on the competition can be found here.
Best of luck to all the competition entrants!
