Poetry were certainly putting their best foot forward on Tuesday night last when they were invited to Mt. Sackville, Castleknock for a ceilí in aid of St. Vincent De Paul.  So, with best formal dress on, dancing shoes polished and a ‘bus filled with enough after shave to fuel a NASA launch, the boys from Poetry headed off for a great night’s ceol, craic and dancing.

Through the evening the boys danced many well known pieces, and while the cast of Dancing with Stars have nothing to worry about, nevertheless the lads gave it their all and thoroughly enjoyed the night as you can see by clicking here: Poetry Céilí

Year Captain Tim Burke made a presentation the Poetry year for the local St. Vincent De Paul Society, which the girls from Mt. Sackville chose as the charity.

Thanks to Mt. Sackville and especially Ms. Julie-Ann Somers for the invitation!
