The U.C.D. Entrance Scholars awards were held on Thursday evening in the O’Reilly hall. The following Old Clongownian students were recognised for 2012.
U.C.D. College of Engineering and Architecture:
Michael Joy, Eoin Mc Mullan, Viet Nguyen (a.k.a. Johnny Gunning)
Sports Scholarships: Bryan Byrne, Edward Byrne, Peadar Timmins.
College of Health Science: Patrick Daly.
Mr. Frank Kelly was in attendance and the ceremony and was presented with a plaque in recognition of the achievement of the seven boys. The plaque is now on display in the Concourse.
