On June 19th, at Fr. Peter Kenney Day, Mr. Greg Walsh OC’69 presented Clongowes Library with a copy of his very comprehensive book ‘Cattle Breeds in Ireland, A History’. This tome is an in depth collection on how cattle came to Ireland, how each breed was introduced and how they flourished. It took 4 years to compile and tells the story of why Ireland is one of the best cattle-breeding countries in the world. Greg is pictured here presenting a copy to Ms. Jane O’Loughlin, Clongowes Librarian and Mr. Joe Rooney, Chair of Clongowes Foundation
