Fr. Jim Corkery S.J. to speak at Grammar Parent Day - Clongowes Wood College

This year, the Grammar Parent Day will take place on Sunday 12th January 2014, as indicated on the school calendar. We are very pleased to announce that Fr. Jim Corkery S.J. will be our guest speaker.

Fr. Corkery S.J. is associate Professor of Theology at the Milltown Institute, Dublin.  In 2009, he published Joseph Ratzinger’s Theological Ideas: Wise Cautions and Legitimate Hopes (Dublin: Dominican Publications and USA: Paulist Press).  In 2010, together with Professor Thomas Worcester SJ of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, he co-edited a collection of essays entitled The Papacy Since 1500: From Italian Prince to Universal Pastor (UK and USA: Cambridge University Press).  In 2008, he was the Irish Province’s delegate to the 35th General Congregation of the Society of Jesus.
