“November Remembrance” Tree - Clongowes Wood College

Posted: 18th November 2013

You may have noticed a little addition to the concourse recently. It is indeed a tree but you will be happy to know NOT a Christmas tree (not just yet!). As the sign indicates, it is a “November Remembrance” Tree.

Following on from All Souls day which, we celebrated on November 2nd, traditionally we have continued to see out the remainder of the month remembering and praying for our loved ones who have passed on from this life.

As there is approximately two weeks remaining in November, I would encourage each of you to take time to write down the name(s) of any loved one(s) you have lost on the available ‘blank’ tags on the tree and we will continue to remember their names & memory in the morning prayers and masses for the month.
